Meet the Crew
Inside every wash there’s a whole team of heroes working on your car. Roll the windows up and say hi — here’s who’s who in the tunnel.
👇 The crew, in tunnel order-ish 👇
Wrap Brush · Team Captain
Wally the Wrap
Wally leads the crew from the heart of the tunnel. His job: hug every car’s sides with thousands of soft strips until the doors sparkle.
Wrap Brush · The Brains
Wanda the Wrap
The smartest scrubber in the building. Wanda polishes the panels Wally misses — and keeps the whole crew in line.
Wrap-in-Training · Sidekick
Junior
The littlest wrap in the wash, in his official SB cap. Junior is still learning, so mostly he cheers — loudly — and high-fives the hubcaps.
Top Brush · Cover Star
Big Blue
The gentle giant from the coloring book cover. He rolls over your hood, roof and trunk like one big fluffy wave.
Mitter Curtain
Marty the Mitter
Marty’s soft cloth curtains pat-pat-pat the top of your car clean. He is, basically, a car hug.
Conveyor · The Smoothest Ride in Town
Jeff Rollins
Put it in neutral and relax — Jeff’s got it from here. The smoothest chauffeur in Souderton: he carries every car, every hero, the whole show, all day long, and he’s never dropped a single one.
Conveyor Track · The Road That Comes to You
Trackston
Jeff Rollins does the pushing — Trackston does the carrying. Track, to his friends, is the road that comes to you: hop on, sit back, and let the whole tunnel roll past. No potholes, no traffic, no wrong turns — the smoothest stretch of track in Souderton.
Detail Brush
Scrubby
Small brush, big heart. Scrubby zips in for the spots everybody else misses — bugs beware.
Wheel & Rocker Brush · Good Boy
Rollie
Part puppy, part brush, all business down low. Rollie chases wheels for a living — and always wins.
Drying Towel · The Finisher
Terry the Towel
The last hero you see before you shine. Terry dries every drop, then waves you off — see you next wash!
Vacuum · Crumb Patrol
Gus the Vac
Gus lives out front with his two green hoses, happily slurping up sand, crumbs and lost french fries from under the seats.
New recruits 🎉
The crew keeps growing — nine more machines came to life this year, in order of who meets you first. Be nice to the rookies (well, Pearl’s no rookie — she trained everybody).
Menu Sign · The Showman
Marquee
Top hat, microphone, and every wash on the bill. Marquee runs the menu like it’s opening night — pick a star, any star.
Pay Kiosk, Classic · The Sweetheart
Pearl
Pearl’s been saying “good morning, hon” at the entrance since the old days. Still takes quarters, still prints receipts, still smiles like sunshine — some things don’t need upgrading.
Pay Kiosk, New · The Rookie
Pixel
The new kid at the gate: tap, scan, blink and you’re washing. Pixel’s fast, but he’s still learning manners from Pearl — she says the secret is you greet the person, not the car.
Plate Camera · Never Forgets a Friend
Blink
Two eyes weren’t enough, so Blink brought cameras. One flash and he knows you’re a member — before your window’s even down.
Gate Arm · The Bouncer
Boomer
The best-dressed bouncer in town. Blink gives the nod, Boomer lifts the bar. VIPs only — and if you’re a member, that’s you.
Rain‑X Arch · The Bodyguard
Rex
Rex (R-X — get it?) coats your windshield so rain doesn’t dare stick around. All that flexing isn’t for show: repelling weather is a full-body workout.
Dryer Arch · The Windstorm
Turbo
Three turbines, two sneakers, zero chill. Turbo blasts the water off your car in one glorious WHOOSH — the only crew member with his own weather system. (The sneakers? He says they make him faster.)
Air Compressor · The Strong, Silent Type
Max
You’ll never see Max — he works out of a little room in the back — but every hero on this page runs on his air. Ninety gallons of pure muscle, and he never skips pump day. Doesn’t talk much. He’s literally the strong, silent type.
Backup Air Compressor · Still Undefeated
Champ
Before Max, there was Champ. She carried this whole wash on her back for years and never once lost a bout. These days she lets the rookie take the day shift — but when Max needs a breather, the champ still answers the bell.
Spot-Free Rinse · 1,000 Gallons of Perfect
Crystal
Pure water, zero patience for spots. Crystal’s a thousand gallons of mineral-free rinse that dries your car to a spotless shine — and unlike most washes, she rides right up front on your right instead of hiding in the back.
And the star of the show…
The Logo Legend · Since Day One
The Red Car
He’s on our logo, our stickers, and every sign at the wash — the car every hero on this page suits up for. And here’s his secret: in all these years, he’s never had a name. (Yet. Got a good one? Tell us at the wash next time you roll through.)
From the sketchbook
Every hero started as a pencil drawing on a real artist’s desk — page by page, before AI. A few pages escaped the sketchbook:
Who are these guys?
The original nine were drawn by hand — page by page, before AI! — as the official crew of Star Brite Car Wash. They’re the same heroes hiding in our free coloring book, and you’ll spot the whole family around the wash, on our signs, and right here on the site. And the crew keeps growing — every machine in the tunnel is somebody.
