On the Way to
Star Brite Car Wash
— the Coloring Book
A few years back we drew our whole town, page by page (before AI!) — Jesse’s Barbecue, the Broad Theater, the community pool, the fire company, the farms — 35 hand-drawn pages of the places we all grow up driving past. Then it sat in a drawer. Not anymore.
Print any page, or the whole book. Crayons not included (the fridge-door gallery is up to you).
Color your way through town 🏘️
Every page is a real place — and yes, there’s a “Star Brite Car Wash” signpost hiding on every single one. Tap a page to open it full-size, then print.
Gone but not forgotten 🕯️
Towns change. Since we drew this book, four of our favorite places closed their doors. We kept their pages anyway — color them like they’re still open, because in Souderton’s memory, they always will be.
It’s free — forever. If a page ends up on your fridge, consider a few dollars to Keystone Opportunity Center — Souderton’s own, right on the Main Street in this book, helping 5,000+ local families a year. And save your stubby crayons for The Crayon Initiative — drop them at your local Staples (they ship them free) or mail them in, and they become brand-new crayons for kids in children’s hospitals. 🖌️
